"In the most lovely setting the cabin was delightful, clean and fully equipped. Paradise."

The cabin has lovely decor, is totally secluded and has a beautiful lake view. You would never guess that this little paradise is so close to all amenities and lots of places to visit. We will definitely be back.

The place is paradise! It's absolutely beautiful, a little piece of heaven. The cabin is so cosy and peaceful, the host let us in early and told us not to rush to check out. And offered to drive us to the bus stop to go into York, she was so lovely and her cabin is just amazing!

"A lovely chilled weekend in a beautiful nature setting with lots to do in the surrounding areas !"

Lovely location, very relaxing and able to switch off and have some downtime with my partner.

The only thing was that the shower head was a bit faulty and could do with replacing

"A perfect place to stay for nature lovers and an easy drive to York."

The best part of our stay was the 360o view of the ponds, lakes and wildlife. It is so peaceful and a perfect get away! We loved the thick moss banks , winter landscape with early signs of spring. We’re already planning a late spring visit to see the area budding and blooming! We loved it!
