Apartment with a view, perfect for breaks and WFH

The location was excellent, good-sized apartment opposite lovely local pub and amazing views. Some welcome gifts on arrival were also much appreciated, and the apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

It was very cold - there were some rules about the heating so we felt like they didn't want us to keep it on, but it gets really cold so we used it whenever we were inside, though it goes off at night. Some throws could be a good idea when sitting in the living room. The bed in the main bedroom was also kind of old, so every time my partner moved it would squeak/wobble so an updated frame and mattress would be good. Otherwise everything was perfect.b

The pub across the street was sometimes noisy (but it is a lovely pub that's worth the visit!)

Great location with views across the sea. Comfortable bedrooms. Nice to have a coffee machine. We all liked it and would definitely book again.

I had expected on-site parking from the listing but there isn't any. I had to pay to park in a nearby car park. It was close enough and wasn't a problem but caught me by surprise so worth other bookers being aware.

The apartment could be cold at times when the wind and rain came in from the prevailing south west, heating could be adjusted but could still be cold in the middle of the night.

This location has a wonderful elevated, panoramic view of Dutton Harbour to Mount Batten. It is only a one minute downhill walk to the ferries that take you to numerous tourists locations in the region. It is located directly above the Mayflower Steps and the Mayflower Museum and a perfect starting point to explore Plymouth's Barbican district.
