La Zambra Resort Mijas - Marbella - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

La Zambra hotel near Mijas, Málaga, is an absolute gem and a destination we would return to without hesitation. We spent three wonderful nights here and found it to be one of the most relaxing and restorative stays we have ever experienced. The hotel itself is stunning, set within breathtaking surroundings that perfectly capture the beauty of Andalusia. The staff were exceptional throughout — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The spa was a true highlight, offering a serene escape that left us completely rejuvenated. Dining at the Picador restaurant was a real treat; the food was absolutely delicious, the wine list superb, and every meal felt like a special occasion. Whether you are looking for relaxation, great food, or simply a beautiful place to unwind, La Zambra delivers on every level.

The beds and pillows were a little too soft for us.

A beautiful resort - we stayed 2 nights in March and enjoyed the sunny weather by the pool. Loved the complimentary yoga each morning.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the spa- next time.

Mostly staff were excellent. Facilities very good, although it seems a little mean to charge 30 Euros to use indoor pool.

When I ordered glasses of Rose from the bar the carte said a glass cost 8 Euros. However, I found out later the barman had served a rose costing 12 Euros without gaining authorisation from me. When challenged he said "We prefer to serve this one". This is very poor customer service. I informed reception on checking out and they promised to investigate and get back to me. No answer so far. I would recommend this hotel but be very careful with what you order and double check that you are getting what you think you are getting.

Our stay at La Zambra was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit unforgettable. The facilities were outstanding, and the lunch was simply superb. The Signature Suite was magnificent—beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable—and every request we made was met with effortless care and professionalism. It was, without question, a remarkable stay at a truly outstanding hotel. Thank you to the entire La Zambra team for such a memorable experience. A very special thank you to Juan Carlos and his wonderful team at the Mood Spa. The spa circuit was deeply relaxing, the lunch was delicious, and the massages were an absolute indulgence. The manicure for the ladies was also a lovely touch that added to the sense of complete pampering. The attention to detail and level of service throughout the experience were exceptional.
