Destino Deluxe Villa Sea View with Private Pool

The host is lovely and was able to answer our questions in advance and during the stay. The beach is really right there, so close! I recommend renting a car to get around (to the supermarket) but the host also helped us book a taxi for a visit of the city.

We spent some time comparing different offers on Booking and choosing Destino Deluxe Villa for our stay was the best decision we could have made. The hostess, Eleni, was very kind and thougtful. She was checking on us every day. Whenever we needed anything, she was ready to help. She arranged a sun umbrella and a microwave, when we asked before our arival, if it was possible. We arrived in the middle of the night, so she preapred fruits, water and snacks for us, to have something to eat before we could go to the supermarket the next day. There was also a bootle of wine waiting for us. The villa is new and clean, there is everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen allows preparing meals, but also there is a possbility of food delivery (Eleni left for us some fliers, so we didn't have to search it online). Moreover, just 10 minutes walking, there are plenty of restaurants. We recommend Ambrosia - went there several times and every time it was OK (also very reasonable prices). From all the bedrooms, living room and the pool there is a sea view. Just next to the villa there is a very nice, organized beach. Sandy and not crowded at all, real peace and quiet. 5 Euro per sun bed with umbrella. 5 minutes walking there is a CretAquarium. 5 minutes by car there is a place with water sports (Gouves Water Sports) - we rented there jet skis and tried parasailing. 6 minutes by car there is a very well equipped supermarket (Chalkiadakis), open every day (even Sunday). The pool is clean, 1.60m deep, big enough to swim a bit. A nice surprise was a swimming mattress waiting for us. :-) Nice villa with a great pool area, peaceful neighborhood, beautiful view, the sound of waves, supermarket and restaurants nearby. Perfect location. Amazing hostess.

There is nothing to improve, everything was perfect. The only thing which should have been mentioned before, was a noise from overflying aircrafts on their descent to the HER airport nearby. During the night we were closing all the windows to sleep better. Nevertheless, in the bedroom on the last floor, even with closed windows, it could still be heard. It did not disturb us much, but I think it is fair to mention it. The new Heraklion airport is under construction and when open, it should eliminate the problem, as the aircrafts get a different route.

We have been to crete a few times and this has been our favorite and most loved property. From the moment we arrived and met ELENI that was so welcoming and helpful, she was an exceptional host ! we felt right at home in this perfect place to be . The beach is seconds away and the pool was just perfect place to unwind from all the activities in the area , restaurants and cafe in walking distance (great walk on the beach shore ) Great villa for families and couples or anybody looking to relax and have all the comfort this property offers . Will definitely want to come here again.

We loved everything about our stay at Destino Deluxe Villa. Location was great and the hosts are the best hosts we ever had. They did everything and more to ensure our stay was perfect. Perfect vacation. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

The villa is decorated beautifully! The bedrooms have very comfortable beds, great showers and the views are to die for! You will not be disappointed if you book this villa. The host Eleni is probably the best host we have ever experienced from all of our previous holidays - if we needed help with anything she was there, from booking our hire car to arrive at the Villa to recommending places to visit, restaurants to go to, and trips to book. So very helpful and kind!
