Beautiful Life Rooms with Sea View - Next to Elafonisi Beach

It was end of March and no blanket or duvet provided, had to cover myself with towels and sleep fully dressed with AC heating ON the whole night.

Beautiful house with everything you need and close to the beach, although still 15 minutes walk

Not much. Access through dirt road but nothing difficult. Three rooms available so you might see neighbours. For real view of the sea you have to be outside from the appartement I was staying in

Location: slightly funky to get to (via an unpaved road for a few mins), but that gives it the remoteness bonus. It’s also as close to the wonderful Elafonisi beach as you could get (still a 15min walk, but no other accomodation can be much closer as it’s a protected area). The view: fantastic to have just green, sea, and sky in front of you. Host: I forgot my coat when I left the room, and the host was kind to leave it by the mini-market for me to be able to pick it up anytime.

The room is very basic. I went there in March, chose this place without kitchen, and little did I know that the closest open place to have some warm food was a 40min drive away. The only open place is a mini-market, that thankfully has also a small selection of cold paninis, so I lived on that for a couple days. Ended up staying one night less than what I booked, as the lack of food was annoying.

The location is very, very close to the entrance of Elafonisi Beach. The apartment itself is very clean too! Too bad we only had to stay for 1 night. I wouldn't mind staying longer. Also, the owner or manager was very accommodating. We had to check out by 10am (as per rules) but asked if we could borrow 2 towels for the beach to be returned in the afternoon outside the property. We also asked if we can leave our car parked in there so that we won't have to pay €5 at the mega parking near the beach. He/she is very accommodating with my request!

The drive going to the apartment from the main road was very rocky. Although it's only about 3-minute tops by car. However, please note that there's a shortcut on the side of the property that will take you about a minute walk straight to the entrance of the beach and the mini-market. Just go to a small opening in the fence at the left side of Apartment 1. Only people will be able to fit in so the car should go through the proper rocky route. We just discovered this by chance. Would have loved if this was communicated. Anyway, it wasn't too much of a big deal for us! We would still stay at this property when we come back to Elafonisi!

I just loved the place

The view is significant. We were staying 7 days, and the owner gave us a ride around with his boat. The apartment was very clean and charming.
