"Good value and very comfortable."

8.0

Inside the condo was very nice with everything we could need. Very comfortable.

The outside could use some work but assume it is weather related due to massive snow amounts and also the fires in the past few years.

"I don't know how to summarize the experience"

6.0

The interior of the condo was nice. I wouldn't really call it luxurious.

Check in was horrible. We didn't receive instructions on where or how to check in until 2:30am on October 11th the day after our arrival. Although we were told we would be contacted 5 days prior to the 10th no email arrived and my email inquiries weren't addressed. I called the Vail Properties local phone number on the website however that number is in Colorado & they don't take care of CA. I was given a local number for the Kirkwood property manager who never returned my 3 calls/voicemails. Asked at the store- no help. Texted Red Awning & they couldn't help. Eventually found a handyman who sent us to The Lodge which was closed by this time. Called the after hours number & finally was able to get the room number & entry code. Arrived 2 hours late to the wedding rehearsal. The site says check in is 4:00pm to 11:59pm- no mention of the location check in site or hours. I wouldn't recommend this based on there being too many layers to get through (Booking.com; RedAwning; Vail Properties) just to check in to our rental. Other than that the exterior of the complexes need maintenance & be sure you buy groceries before you get to the area. A half gallon of milk and a box of vanilla wafers at the Kirkwood store was $19.85. For real. No prices displayed & no cash accepted. Also there was no TV in the primary bedroom.
