Beautiful surroundings

Just loved this cottage, well mainted and beautifully furnished. Has everything you could wish for the owners have thought of everything! Views are stunning and it is so peaceful yet in easy access to Holmfirth and the surrounding countryside.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this beautiful cottage. Everything was just perfect.

Good base, less than 10 min drive from nearest town but also able to easily explore peak district. Host had thought of everything you might need for an enjoyable stay, including a amazing array of games and books containing walks for local countryside. Well furnished throughout.

Cutlery draw in kitchen and one of the sofas could have been cleaner, but rest of house was spotless

This was a fantastic place there really was everything you would need plus more! Very comfortable bed the whole place light and airy, solid parking for the two cars we had with us.

Just slightly annoyed at having to clean as we got in as there was something we presume was chocolate on the TV sofa but two mins cleaned it (just feel I shouldn't have had to as you could not miss it.) And the other miff was the outdoor chairs needed a clean 😔 as neither me or my partner liked the look of the very nice but grungy chair xx sorry guys don't like to pick at an otherwise fab place but cleaning should have picked up on the sofa (it wasn't small) and we like to sit out and it just spoilt the space and for us we couldn't use it .... No extractor in the bathroom 🫤 which meant if you opened the window you got flies with the fields at the back.
