ATITColazione ottima al Bar Cattedrale con gelati, granite e cornetti. Eccellente anche il caffè. Camera centrale immersa nella storia con bellissimo spazio esterno. Un plauso alla pulizia.
ITI liked the charm of the location, both the somewhat rustic entrance side and the backside terrace woth comfortable peaceful seating around a tree in blossom, although I did not really have time to take advantage of it, my stay having begun at 7:30pm and ended the next morning at noon. The breakfast was served at the nearby Cafe' of the Cathedral which itself was a most charming venue, served excellent home made pastries (my own choice was a traditional "cornetto" with apricot jam) and kindly offered me a generous taste of the almond "granita" they had just produced.
A possible improvement would have been a better explanation of the amenities available in the room and common area, which explanation might well have been penalized by a tight schedule. A surprising call asking me where my room key was (in my pocket of course, where else?) which reached me while I was finishing a visit to the Cathedral and its museum and caused me to rush back and check out. It was prompted by the need to show the room to a plumber who was about to come about doing some work. I said to feel free to open and go in to my room (I was already packed). In the end I found the plumber looking for directions to La Rosa Blu as I was returning to the B&B and led him to the venue myself.
SIB&B in Gerace is just amazing. It is located in the city center, with private parking just a minute away, breakfast in a local Cafe, and a big plus with an amazing host Tea! When we arrived in Gerace there was a La Notte Romantica festival going on in Gerace, and she arranged for all her guests aperitivo on the Terrace. Truly an amazing experience, I highly recommend!

ROTea is maravigliosa!!!! We felt like home as she recommended us were to eat and even helped hs visit a very old church there.
