The House of Aurora II

This is a typical house for rent... well equipped, not far from the city, with a good view. The kitchen is very comfortable. It's nice that there is a washing machine and dryer. It's quite nice to walk around.

The attitude of the owners is simply disgusting. We asked for the only thing that is critical for us - good Wi-Fi (we work remotely), to which we were told that everything would be fine and we had nothing to worry about. When we checked in, it was barely possible to send a message through this Wi-Fi. Of course, the owners did nothing. I understand that there may be problems, that the Internet may not work - this is quite normal. If we had known about this, we simply would not have chosen this place or wound have planned our work differently. But to blatantly convince that everything is fine when nothing works there (and what’s more, we looked through the reviews - this problem has been observed before) is simply a mockery. Proof screenshots are attached. Also, the bed is extremely soft, it's a torture for a back.

Really great location for the northern lights ! We saw them all three nights we stayed at the property - there are some great view points in walking distance and driving distance ! I told the owner we were going as our honey moon and they went the extra mile and left us a bottle of wine with lovely heart confetti , it made the stay feel so special!

Such a cozy and clean house! Really enjoined the stay because of the beautiful location, the fjord is in front of the house and you can see the mountains trough the window. Unfortunately we had no luck with the lights but the nature around the house was still worth it! Will hopefully come back someday :)

Gorgeous views! We woke one morning to multiple rainbows and a reindeer passing by. Another morning we woke to see snow capped mountains. It was just a short walk to the fjord, a small waterfall and an amazing cafe. The property itself was clean and provided everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable! The shower was one of the nicest we have seen. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The only thing I can think of was that it took us a bit to figure out how to use the stove….

Clean, quiet, friendly people, it was far enough outside of town but not too far. Nice local grocery store just down the road and beautiful views right outside the window. Walking distance to a very nice cafe on the water. Will be back to stay here again.

The apartment is almost new, beautifully decorated, clean, of high quality and well equipped. An almost unobstructed view of the fjord, although the location is not right on the beach.

The yard area is still unfinished, but the small terrace is enough for two adults to stay.

Very well maintained and comfortable. Host was very helpful and responsive both prior to arrival and during our stay. The location was outside of town and quiet; however, it was a short drive into Tromso and easily accessable to other areas.
