I am writing to request a full refund for my reservation, as my experience was severely affected by issues that prevented us from accessing the accommodation for a significant portion of our stay. The reservation was for one night, from Saturday to Sunday. We were informed that the accommodation would be available for check-in at approximately 3:30 PM. We arrived at that time but were unable to enter because the key box lock would not open using the code that had been provided. We immediately contacted the agency responsible for the property and followed all the instructions given over the phone, but without success. After several attempts, we were informed that a technician would be sent to resolve the issue. The technician took approximately two hours to arrive, as he was travelling from Lagos to Albufeira and also stopped to purchase a new lock. During this entire period, we had no access to the accommodation and were not offered any alternative solution. The situation became even more frustrating because, after the technician arrived, the lock was replaced on the wrong door. Throughout several hours, we received contradictory information regarding which door was actually ours. Different door numbers were mentioned, and at one point we were even instructed to try other locks. There was a clear lack of coordination and organisation on the part of the property management. In addition, the accommodation originally assigned to us was H6. However, due to the confusion caused by the technician replacing the lock on the wrong door, we ultimately ended up staying in unit H5. This change was never properly explained to us or agreed upon, and in our opinion, the H5 unit was of a lower standard than the accommodation we had originally been assigned, further worsening an experience that had already been significantly affected by the ongoing check-in issues. While waiting for a solution, we were forced to remain outside the accommodation.

Location was right near the ocean with an ocean view. It was easy to get the keys and the person on the phone was helpful the first time. The apartment was clean.

I am not someone that ever complains or even writes a review and I usually question the people that do write bad reviews for what kind of person they are. I do not expect much but this place failed on many levels. The ad shows a balcony and does not make it clear that all units do not have a balcony. There are pictures of the unit we were in but confusing to which view is what apartment. The front gate had a broken window and the building across the street is literally falling down. The bunk beds are in a closet, the picture does not depict how small the room is, my son could not get in the top bunk because the door was 1 foot away from the bed. The master bed you could feel the springs and the 2 pillows were flat, 2" high. Shower weak. Asked for more toilet paper and they told me to go buy some. 2 small rolls for 4 people for 2 days and go buy your own. Also, did not affect us but no air conditioning or central heater, space heaters and fans.

It’s like a dungeon, under road level. Every time a car or lorry etc went past the windows rattled. Shower you had to hold in your hand to get wet. Beds creaked every time you moved, no aircon, no sea view that it shows in advertising. Worst of all not safe to stay in as the door handle for front door is broken and locks from in side and no way of getting out if you don’t have a key.

No hot water for the first 2 days No WiFi for most of the stay and they refused to do anything about it Kitchen is too basic to use so had to eat out for ever meal Two different families tried to gain access because they had double booked the room. They had even given them the code to my key box. If I had left my key in the key box they would have entered my room with all my belongings. No apologies

single beds were not as advertised when booking. there was a strong sewage like smell coming from the bathroom. neighbors were making lots of noise and shouting throughout the night.
