Great little dog friendly stay. The location was brilliant, only a short walk into the town centre. The apartment was lovely and ornate, cosy for a night in after exploring the town all day. The host was friendly and helpful, they live above the apartment if you need them for anything during your stay. We were able to park on the road outside the apartment/ the host will provide a permit card until 12 noon the next day. If the street is full, there is a car park just at the end of the road and reasonable price for 24 hours.

Little amenities would have helped to improve the apartment and improve the score given: both a hand soap bottle/ body wash bottle in bathroom. Coffee machine instructions to help, coffee being topped up/ be fresh (host did mention not much left which made me confused to why it wasn't topped up for us as the next staying guests) washing up brush was used and dirty, needed to be replaced. The coffee machine needed cleaning out after the last guests. Milk sachets/ small milk would have been wonderful so guests can make a cup of tea or coffee on arrival as not everyone would think to bring their own. Outside could do with automatic light as it can be dangerous in the dark. Not sure if it was the heating coming on, or it was people showering (happened twice around the 6am) sounded like a bath was being run in the room, waking us up (if it was due to showering just wanted to make hosts aware as they live above).

Spacious, clean, modern

Would have been nice to have a shower cubicle feather than shower over bath. Tv remote in bedroom had flat battery and so couldn’t tune the tv in. My wife is very particular about bedding and felt that the quilt cover cheap and nasty. A pint bottle of milk would have been handy and would have saved me having to find some on Sunday morning. parking difficult.
