(Aquarium) Elegant Two-Level Apartment with In-Room Tub

We liked the central location of the apartment, the nice decoration of the room, the good beds. Good restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Parking closeby. Apartment is convenient for a family (up to 4). Some other travelers mentioned the safety of the neighborhood, we didn't notice that, as you could take good streets to access the home. Of course, as we are a family, we didn't stay up until very late hours, on normal family hours, we didn't experience any problem. Parking location nearby, suitable for a large car. We experienced issues with the booking/check in process, host took care of us to get it sorted out, and we ultimately found a solution.

It is a typical Genua street (small streets), while this has a lot of charm, be mindful that it is a bit dark inside of the apartment. As my family arrived late, and departed early in the morning, this didn't bother too much, yet for those who like natural light, be aware that this is not easy to reach (probably nowhere in Genua old city center given the city lay out). Check in process was not smooth at all, and pretty stressful. It came with a surplus to get it solved (20 euro more) versus initial price. Be mindful that you need to have cash money with you to pay for the tourist taxes, so you don't need to rush in the morning to a cash machine. The check in hassle explains my 7 score, otherwise would have given it a 9 score.
