Everything is good

Breakfast was great. We loved to stay there, cable tv great and a quite place.

Well, it wasn't as close as I thought it would be to be beach.

The accommodation is in a great location, just a few meters from the ocan and the centre - cafés, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, and we also made use of the hotel’s pool, which was a nice bonus.

As for the negatives, the first thing that surprised us was the arrival - when we got there in later afternoon, the night guard simply waved his hand to indicate where our room was, without giving us any further information. Unfortunately, the staff in general were not very friendly or welcoming. I should also mention that payment was accepted only in cash, which was quite surprising since we had no issues paying by card anywhere else in El Salvador. Overall, I would probably come back again.

I didn't use it but the pool looked a little rough

La ubicacion es excelente y parqueo es adequado.

Que te fuerza a pagar en efectivo. 4% mas para tarjeta y 5 % menos en efectivo. El inodoro se obstruye facilmente. El tv solo funciona en Youtube. El internet fue bastante lento.

Localização muito boa

O pequeno-almoço é muito simples, com poucas opções, sumo “natural” que é apenas água com um bocadinho de sumo de laranja. Tudo se ouve nos quartos, tivemos uma noite que foi do conhecimento do hotel, em que se prontificaram a compensar mas não compensaram, em que não dormimos rigorosamente nada porque havia guests a cantar e a gritar nas áreas comuns até às 4 e tal da manhã. O preço que se paga não compensa de todo.

Stayed here in January. I think this small hotel is a good deal in this popular area. It's certainly more comfortable than the surrounding hostels and a better value than the higher priced hotels. The location is great. 2min walk to the beach boardwalk and the trendy restaurant hub. So close to the lively center, yet tucked away in a quiet alley. The room was just like the photos. Large entry space. Small kitchen and breakfast bar. Clean, but few utensils. The mini fridge worked OK. Small restroom, but functional. Hot water. Half wall between the kitchen and beds. 2 beds, fairly comfortable mattresses Beds had clean sheets Good A/C Good Wi-Fi Good breakfast The balcony is a large space with a table and clean, comfy hammock. The balcony access is from the hall at the top of the staircase, but it was situated directly in front of my room, so no one else used it. The pool area is lush and beautifully illuminated at night. It looks a little grungy during the day, but I think the cement on the bottom is stained. The water was clean. The manager was super friendly and monitored the small site to ensure the guests had a pleasant stay.

Only CASH is accepted here. I was expecting to use my card, so I didn't have cash on hand. The manager was kind, assuring me I could pay later. There are a few ATMs down the block, so it wasn't an issue, just unexpected. To get to the second floor, guests climb a small, wooden circular staircase. It's a tight squeeze with a suitcase. Some of the boards are loose. Request a room on the ground floor if you have balance issues or weild heavy luggage. It's a bit hard to locate the hostel as it is accessed from a very narrow, dark alley through a small pathway through foliage. It's perfectly safe. Just hard to find. The parking lot is roped off, so park on the main street and walk into the alley to check in and the parking lot will be opened for you. Otherwise, there's nowhere to turn around and you will need to back out of the alley in reverse. Not a big deal. Just helpful to know in advance. The water pressure was very weak, so be sure to hold the toilet handle down for a few seconds until the water flushes completely. The rainfall showerhead was nice, but without much water pressure, it took a little longer to rinse. I reserved a double room with 2 beds. The description said 2 full beds, but it was 1 full bed and 1 single bed. The box springs of the single bed rested directly on the floor without a frame. Still not a deal breaker, but not exactly what was advertised. The beds had clean sheets, but no blankets. It's only a problem if you and your companion prefer different room temps with the A/C on all night. The pillows were high and overstuffed. Not comfortable. A set of shelves stood directly in front of the larger bed, but there aren't any closets or tables for your things other than the small breakfast bar counter. The pool is small and shallow - about 4ft. It's more of a plunge pool. The stairs and railing are a bit rickety.
