Secluded Woodland Hideaway - 2 Bed with Private Parking

We liked the peaceful surroundings and the facilities available in the property. The food and juice that was provided for breakfast was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

The double bed felt a little uncomfortable, but I'm used to sleeping with a memory foam topper on my mattress, to support my back whilst also feeling soft and comfortable.

Having croissants/milk/OJ/fruit bowl and cereals in the cupboard was a really lovely unexpected extra touch (and much appreciated!)

It was more a park home butted up to the main house than a secluded woodland hideaway as depicted… but it didn’t matter to us as it was a bed for the night and the only place close to friends we were seeing on the bank hol weekend so not an issue at all….

We have spent the last two years working on our house so we just needed a change of scenery. Julie and Charlie were wonderful – the perfect hosts. They had a family day on the Saturday and invited us to share their food. The family were delightful and very welcoming. We spent our time birdwatching, from the large window at the back of the caravan, and watching films. They had every TV app available. Games, DVDs, CDs and even a video player. There was a freestanding gas cooker – grill, no toaster – and an oven. Kettle, Microwave, under counter fridge with small freezer section. Lots of towels for the shower. We were able to cook a full roast dinner on Easter Sunday with all the kitchen utensils available.

Unfortunately, the double mattress was very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs through the mattress.

The hosts were very friendly. Showed us around. They left us fruit, croissants biscuits and cereal. It was lovely.

Only there for one night, so happy with everything
