Perspectives 2 Bedroom/ 2 Bathroom Apartment

Pros - [ ] Location - [ ] Security and parking - [ ] Ease of accessibility - [ ] Functioning Elevators - [ ] Hot water - [ ] Modern appliances - [ ] Both rooms are in suite - [ ] Sufficient storage - [ ] Towels availed

Cons - [ ] Kitchen sink has backlog and is constantly clogging, I informed the host multiple times of this and no plumber EVER came as promised. - [ ] Upon arrival, after cleaning the floors it came to my attention that they were not properly cleaned for check in as there was hair and sand evident from maybe past visitors - [ ] A wet mop just resting the cupboard that was very stinky - [ ] Only 2 tissues availed for a weeks stay is unjustified - [ ] No cleaning products such as toilet cleaner - [ ] No bin liners - [ ] No cleaning were offered - [ ] Doors move quite vigorously due to cape winds at night and during the day - [ ] Bed sheet were dirty on the other side that is not visible at first glance - [ ] Cracking walls and paint splatter evident of a quick job - [ ] Unexplained ditches in walls - [ ] Cracked cupboards in the kitchen - [ ] Although Tv is a smart tv there is no ease of access or any of the newer streaming sites such as DStv, Disney plus, the new Showmax - [ ] The sofa in the living area is worn down and extremely shallow - [ ] The shower door in the second bedroom is broken and does not slide with ease - [ ] Loose bathroom basin tap that is not attached to sink top

Position, & view!

A little grimy, & many items & furniture items broken. A little TLC can be beneficial. It must have been absolutely stunning when new.

Good location in the middle of CPT so easy to get to everything. Secure parking is a bonus. Amazing view of the mountain.

Cleanliness

Very central, safe parking, very safe access, gym facilities. Despite being on the 12th floor the lift access was quick, easy and available, spacious apartment, ensuite bathrooms, utilities were plenty. Great view. Very good value for money

The host should take the initiative of scheduling a meeting with the tenant for key access. I should not have to arrange a meeting with him/her. Albeit not promised, there was no TV entertainment but Netflix or Amazon would have been great for long term stayers
