Flexhome Ukrainian Village - 2BR - Convenient Walkability

The apartment was in a great location, less than a 10 minute was to the 66 bus to downtown and a 15 minute was to the blue metro line which goes to the airport one way and downtown the other way! The area is super good, I never felt unsafe at all, it’s close to a lot of grocery shops and restaurants. There’s one great cafe down the road called Colectivo Coffee, so I recommend that to real coffee drinkers like me:) good prices too, approx €4.20 (before tax) for a latte. All the amenities in the property were great, the oven worked perfectly and cooked food quickly, beds were pretty comfortable, and pictures are as shown.

- The windows are really thin so traffic is loud. It was hard to sleep the first night but we got use to it after a while. - there’s no black out blinds so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and when you wake up in the morning. - washing machine didn’t work! We had to wash our clothes in the sink which was super frustrating, however we did let the owner know and they responded appropriately. - there’s previous guests dirty sheets were still in the washing machine which was kind of disturbing, and the apartment wasn’t deeply cleaned. We didn’t mind too much because we knew we’d be out of the apartment a lot but it was something we noticed. - upstairs neighbours were so loud but that’s nothing that can be prevented

Good location, beds pretty comfortable

Door to street broken, walls and baseboards dirty, bathtub stained, bedrooms tiny, hot water took forever, very weak internet

On the positive side, the apartment is in a good location and it looks just like the pictures online. Kimberly was responsive on message. It had basic ingredients for cooking, plus dishes, pans, and other kitchen essentials, which was helpful. The beds were comfortable too, which made a big difference. When we arrived, someone was outside the building to hand us the key for the main entrance, which made check-in easy — although they left really quickly without asking if we had any questions about the place, so it didn’t feel as professional as you’d normally expect in hospitality.

-Stairwell was dirty (cobwebs, trash, dirty floors). -Strong smell of cigarette smoke inside the apartment. -Laundry was not working, and no one came to fix it despite being told they would. -Sheets on one of the beds didn’t look clean.

Millie was cleaning when we arrived early. Very pleasant and welcoming. Location worked for us. Damen St was a little noisy for front bedroom.

Front door was open on arrival and Millie was upstairs which helped. Stairs were filthy. Apartment clean but sparse. Large exhaust hole in bathroom in lieu of vent. Funneled noise from apartment upstairs. Unsightly. AC worked well.
