NEW Super 2BD Flat near Dalkeith Town Centre

Good location in Dalkeith near the super market and 3 bus line that goes straight into Edinburgh. Some really nice parks near by as well

A little cramped for 3 adults but was expected

The location on the outskirts of Dalkeith is fine for getting into Edinburgh by bus. Dalkeith itself is a commuter town and not a destination in itself but the reasonable. It has a good shower, a washing machine and it's well heated.

Lots of house rules that are very officious. While I understand the need to protect their property and not upset neighbours it comes across badly. Any request to the owners for a change is denied and reference to the house rules made. I asked for an earlier entry time because I was in Edinburgh but had to hang about until after 4pm. I arrived at 5pm to find three cleaners rushing about. They didn't clean it properly and there was debris on the floors, biscuit wrapper in the cupboard and, black hair in the shower. There are no basics in the flat such as tea bags, coffee or even washing up liquid A week later and I'm still waiting for my £300 damage deposit to be returned. For some peopl that might mean other bills not getting paid. In a time when money is short it's very selfish. I come to Scotland about four times a year and was home for my father's funeral which ended up being delayed so I asked if I could cancel and rebook. Request denied. House rules. Would I recommend it? No!

This is a nice little flat in a lovely location. It is near to the town centre yet feels like you are in a country setting. There is a lovely park and woodland walks nearby.

The kitchen worktops, grill pan and baking tray had not been cleaned properly. The table in the kitchen was broken. It was quite expensive for a couple to stay.
