Gozsdu Nightlife Apartment

Our stay at this apartment was a complete nightmare. During the night the noise was unbearable, lasting until 4 a.m., with such intensity that the windows literally vibrated. My family and I couldn’t sleep at all, which ruined our entire trip. The hygiene was appalling the toilet was not cleaned properly and smelled of urine, making it extremely unpleasant. On top of that, we "enjoyed" the nonexistent TV and the nonfuntional Wi-Fi. But the worst part was the constant noise. If you’re looking for a restful decent stay, avoid this place.

The noise was unbearable Friday and Saturday night and we could not closet he windows because no air conditioning and very hot days. We had a washer and a dishwasher but no detergent or capsules! No coffeemaker!

Location was ok. The bedroom were reasonable in size. Host was helpful.

No Air condition (FANs available) no TV or radio/smart device. No locks on the bathroom or Shower room. The Shower was mounted poorly and mad it a poor experience. We chose the Apt because we had to add 2 people to the stay. The Additional bed was a sofa bed which was not fit for Purpose and the people who used it did not sleep well due to the condition of the bed. The eating area was in the hall beside the bathroom which is not very hygienic .

The apt was close to public transport. The host was an excellent communicator and also facilitated an early entry into the apt for us. The apt was clean.

The apt is on the third floor above an arcade full of bars which close anytime between 2 and 5 am with loud pounding music playing all the time. We stayed Thurs/Friday nights hence little sleep. So if you plan to party all night this is the accomodation for you as it is quiet during the day. Otherwise please don't book, it will ruin your stay. The electrics are a bit doggy ,socket in bedroom hanging off the wall. The button to start the washing machine is missing so you have to put your finger in the hole to start it. There was no air conditioning/ TV / toaster. It pays to read reviews which I missed on this occasion.

The apartment is located on a very busy street with shops and restaurants. It is close to the center and within walking distance to all attractions. The place is suitable for more people as it has two bedrooms and a living room, also the bathroom and toilet are divided into two rooms.

The disadvantages are the lack of parking, we managed to find a budget car park 10-15 minutes walk away, which suited us as we were only staying for one night with small luggage. Another drawback is that the place is not very well maintained. The front door is very difficult to close. The toilet and bathroom did not look very clean and were not comfortable. The busy street is both an advantage because of the proximity of the restaurants and a disadvantage because it is quite noisy in the evening until around 4 am. However, the place is suitable for 1-2 nights, but not for families with children.
