Loved the RV, the campsite was very quiet and had a very friendly atmosphere. The RV itself is a great concept, our daughter loved it! The campsite (or nearest co-op) sells wood to use in the make shift firepit so was able to make some smoores. The clubhouse has some old school 2p machines. The on site toilets / showers were clean and close by didn’t need to use the RV toilet. The bed and pull out sofa bed was super comfortable, the extra bedding in the wardrobe was easy to find. There were a few negatives but we loved our stay so totally overlooked the few negatives… was quirky and fun and perfect for our one night stay.

When booking I didn’t read the reviews, before arriving I did read the facilities list… so did bring oven food, when we arrived quickly worked out the oven was broken. Which was fine…. Just needed to change plans… so the listing could be updated to reflect this as I can’t imagine it’s a problem that can ever be sorted. Can’t imagine a 50yr old replacement oven door is easy to come by….. The RV is an amazing concept and a lot of things are no longer working but that’s fine as we wasn’t looking for a 5star hotel, but everything not working didn’t have a huge impact on our stay. Yes the RV “bathroom” is small but the onsite facilities more then make up for it. Seen a lot of comments about it being cold… which is was but wasn’t expecting it to be warm so we took extra blankets with us… problem solved. There were a few cobwebs in the window by the sink that weren’t new and dogs had clearly been on the sofa but nothing a good hoover couldn’t sort. It’s always easy to list the negatives but there was also a lot of positives!

Lack of heating only one oil filled radiator - which didn't give out hardly any heat - so freezing over night even though hot during daytime . This could be improved by solar panel heating maybe / heating same as caravan parks - gas bottle heating or heat source . Also a oven in RV - but unable to use stopped by removing knob and screwed to stop using . We purchased food to eat that needed the oven - only a microwave to use so awful in warming in that . Not informed of this by owners . Also needs a bigger & heavier weight quilt if no heating during the night . Bodily fluid stain on mattress protector - not ours - only found after stripping bed - put a small pillow over so they could see for changing . Toilet needs addressing - damp and mould marks - and redecorating as age yellowing on walls . Instructions required to operate some things within the RV

Thaw location was prefect it was a excellent camp site

There is not a thing I would change

This was our first glamping/camping experience and although other reviewers loved staying in Arvey, unfortunately it wasn't for us. We decided to book in for the night elsewhere. I'm sure with a little attention it could be a quirky experience everyone will love.

Arvey was looking a bit tired and in need of a little tlc. A lot of dead flies in the roof vent, Arvey needed a good airing or air freshener. A refit or some attention to fittings would be of benefit. The compound wasn't secure for our dog and is shared with other units so we couldn't let him off his lead. There were other issues but I'm trying to be fair to the owners, other reviewers loved it so maybe we're just a little picky.
