On The Port

This is a gorgeous place to stay!! Relaxing and clean and so nice! Easy walk to the port and other food places. By far a 10/10 experience staying here - would come again and rebook in an instant!

Everything was clean, the apt was super ! The situation was perfect to us.

Communication with the host was good throughout. Key box attached to the wall outside. Location was very close to the port (a 10 minute walk with luggage). Some nice restaurants very close by. Nice atmosphere in the town centre. Nice view of the water. Good sized apartment. Modern bathroom and kitchen (although we did not use either). Beds were comfortable. Kitchen seemed to be well equiped, although we did not use it.

Although we booked this place to be specifically close to the port, (which we were). We could hear the ferry engine the entire night running through the windows. If you are a light sleeper it would be annoying. Once we were asleep, we were no longer bothered. The outside of the building looked very old and strange and we felt quite unsafe to begin with entering the building. The apartment door had very heavy locks however. We literally stayed in the apartment 12 hours so cannot say too much. Could have been cleaner (fridge was dirty). Did not use the bathroom so cannot comment on hot water.

Lovely clean apartment, beautifully designed and comfortable. Host was communicative and responsive. Convenient location with parking outside and walking distance to restaurants and bars.

This was a great place for me and my family of 4 to stay after a long day of travel. The apartment had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. The owners were very responsive and kind. The apartment is quiet, tastefully decorated and very clean. The view from the balcony was a nice bonus. There are nice restaurants, bakeries and cafes close by.
