the apt was large and relatively quiet, except for local neighbors across an alley

There was no microwave, a tourist essential, and the hot water quickly exhausted. The big issue, which may not bother many, is the large number of stairs to reach the apartment. This is endemic to the Cinque Terre, but for those less than in full strength, this could be a challenge. Again, this is endemic to the area, not an exclusive problem of this property

Location was excellent. Very close to the piazza, although quiet. Lots of history and the castle was just above.

I've got mixed feelings about this experience. We are grateful that the room was ready 2 hours earlier and Monica kindly let us check in earlier.

Unfortunately, the smell in the Ca de Bacin was musty and overall unpleasant (it remained in our clothes for a while). The bathroom was spotless clean but we didn't notice the small boiler (enough just for one person) and the hot water completely stopped while I was in the shower. There were no snacks or coffee pods in the kitchen which was very disappointing - of course I realise there was no breakfast included but for 200 euros a night, we would have expected a bit more than the bare minimum. Although the host was nice and allowed us to check in earlier, we would not return.

The owner is very friendly. She runs her restaurant nearby the top rocks, which has great view for sunset, good food and friendly staffs.

A bit difficult to find the room, needed to climb a few high stairs to find the place. Would be better with pictures for instruction and direction

Lovely decor, bed very comfortable, so well equipped and nice to finally have a place that provided a jug to make our own hot drinks.Lots of room and very spacious and clean. The hosts very very helpful

The 60 plus stairs to our Accomodation.The check in details weren't very clear but we got there eventually.(our European Sim had been playing up so we had trouble connecting to internet , which wasn't the hosts fault)
