"Great place to stay in Newport, VT"

It’s a house that has been divided into a pub and overnight suites. You self check in. The room was huge. Pictures are accurate. Also, the noise from the pub is absolutely NOT an issue. Not sure how they did it, but it’s quiet even when a band was playing downstairs. Also the food and drinks at the pub were great!

It’s a little confusing at first where to go to get to ur room, but the staff in the pub were very nice and helpful. No big deal.

"Superb"

The apartment was perfect for our two night stay. It was beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the walk in shower. Some really nice extra touches included bottled water in the refrigerator and complimentary tea and coffee. We loved the convenience of having the tavern just downstairs; there was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. Both Friday and Saturday night there was live music (which we knew about in advance), which we really enjoyed!

We would have appreciated slightly bigger towels but for two nights, we managed perfectly well.

"Perfect!!"

Location was perfect. The one bedroom apartment was above a local restaurant /bar where I enjoyed dinner and a few beers. Listening and watching locals have a great time, a real family neighbor scene.

Nothing was bad.

The Tavern was a great accommodation! We stayed in the Country Suite and it was very clean and nicely appointed. We will definitely stay there again when visiting our son who lives in the area. . Also- a big shout out to the girls in the pub downstairs! They are very friendly and hard working

You are staying above a pub. If loud noise bothers you then think again. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday so everything quieted down by 11:00pm.

Nice new fully furnished appartement, delicious welcome pastries, great location. Located on top of a tavern with a nice terrace.

Could hear a bit the hallway from the room
