Barn Cottage - North East Escapes

Spacious building with good outlook and outside space.

There is no phone signal at the property and the wifi only works in the main living room but not the 'summer room'

Nothing really apart from decor but that didn’t affect our stay

Good location for seeing this part of Northumberland.

It could do with freshening up a bit. The bedrooms were quite cold as heating not on yet.

Location and size plus a lovely welcome pack on arrival

I loved the big conservatory and plenty seating area. The lovely complementary bag and everything you needed in the kitchen . The owners were really helpful and let us park beside the property as I was caring for a blind man . Loved they had a bath as most properties have just showers and I love my bath after a long day . It’s not far from the most fabulous beach .

Think it could do with more lighting in conservatory as very dark at night we bought the lamp out the lounge in . The other guests said they would have preferred a pool table instead of a gym lol and not to have to share the hot tub as we had to wait late at night to go in

Plenty of space, comfy beds, all the things you could require made available! Whole set up well maintained and looked after! Loved hot tub, tennis court & ping pong! Bravo! Love the treat bag, thank you!

Lots of amenities, tastefully furnished rooms with comfortable beds

Poor lighting in conservatory area and fridge temperature was not cold enough

Great location. Barn was a good size.

It was absolutely freezing in the bedrooms at night time, we struck unlucky with upstairs guests who were arguing and slamming doors late at night. Some of the gym equipment was not working but we weren't made aware of this and when contacted Neil on the number provided there was no response. One bedroom light wasn't working. And the bath water wasn't hot enough for a bath and also rather cloudy/off colour.
