Villa Emas 2BR Private Pool Villa

the staff were amazing and the villa was exactly as the photos and super comfortable.

seminyak was a bit far from the nightlife in canggu but we knew that when booking!

A nice villa in the quieter streets of Seminyak but close enough to the centre to walk. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Bintang Supermarket. The street has a few decent cafes and restaurants. The pool was so nice and stays in full sunlight most of the day. The primary bedroom is huge and has a king bed, a massive TV, a desk with chair, a vanity with chair, a wardrobe, and the ensuite has a jetted bath and separate (to the bath) shower. The second bedroom is not as big but has its own ensuite too. The kitchen has a dining table, fridge, water dispenser and gas stove. The pictures depict the villa well.

Although we enjoyed our overall stay here there were a few reasons I haven’t given full stars. 1) housekeeping is only done twice a week. This had changed as when I booked back in April the description said that it would occur every second day. We only stayed 6 days so were advised we could only have housekeeping once. We ended up needing new towels and sheets so requested housekeeping earlier (I think) than was originally planned. It wasn’t a problem to get done so we appreciated that. 2) There were limited cleaning supplies to clean anything ourselves (even with housekeeping being infrequent). To wash dishes we had to use an old sponge and let them them drip dry on the counter as there were no tea towels to dry them. 3) There was no hot water. So to wash dishes we had to boil the jug. Also, showers were cold. We told the host about this and they had it checked out but the showers remained cold (not freezing, just bearable) throughout our stay. 4) While the pool was lovely, the water level was a bit low. Not really a problem but it did mean that the water jets were shooting above the water line. Again, not really a problem but the noise of it tended to get annoying. 5) The shower in the second ensuite was constantly dripping and that bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Overall we did enjoy our stay here, just a couple of improvements and it would have been perfect. This villa would be great for independent customers who want to look after theirselves.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The bedrooms are large enough to easily accommodate a family of four with a separate kitchen/dining area. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. We enjoyed relaxing by the poolside, soaking in the sun, and taking refreshing swims. It added a wonderful touch to our overall experience, making the stay truly enjoyable. The location is apt if you want to stay close yet far from the hustle bustle of main Seminyak city centre. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with an excellent host who will make sure that your overall trip as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be. A special mention to our local driver Kamal who left no stone turned to ensure we tick all the boxes on our itinerary.

The bathrooms though big enough could do with some additional cleaning.

Both bedrooms in the Villa were very spacious each with their own bathroom. Smart tv’s so can easily connect to Netflix/YouTube etc. very clean. Water dispenser in the kitchen to provide both cold and hot water. The location was good. Very close to Starbucks KFC burger king and short journey to the centre. The host arranged a driver to and from the airport for us. And we also booked excursions with the same driver. Good value for money. Our personal host was Dewa, who met us at the property at check in. Dewa was always happy to help. Very polite and very accommodating.

We had some issues with the water supply - but we contacted our personal host and he sorted this for us.
