Casa Danira - Positano

Casa Danira was such a lovely stay in Positano with amazing views from the terrace! It is a very clean property with plenty of ammenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom amenities. Nicolò was also very helpful and responsive from the very start, helping us with booking a taxi that picked us up from Naples, providing recommendations in and around Positano! Davide who lives in the property upstairs was an exceptional and very friendly host! He even gave us fresh tomatoes + basil from his beautiful garden which we enjoyed during our stay (probably the best tomatoes I’ve ever had!). Highly recommend Casa Danira!!

A little far from the main beach (about a 15 min walk down + a bit longer on your way back up because of the stairs) but there is a bus stop close to the property which is very helpful. Theres also at least 75 steps up to the house from the main road and some more steps down inside the property itself so just be mindful. We were already aware of this so we didn’t mind!

View was amazing, host was great, Davide is such a kind and friendly man and couldn’t help enough. Great to meet him and his wife and very welcoming into their beautiful home. Rooms were clean and very spacious.

Nothing. Would only recommend getting the bus back up as there are a lot of steps!

- little bit of a walk to the main areas and stairs to the apartment but this is expected in Positano and there is a bus stop right out the front to make it even easier. Would still stay here again despite this :).

What we liked: Nicolo and Davide gave us a very warm welcome. The house was clean, and the view from the window was beautiful.

It was very far from the beach. Unfortunately, we didn’t expect the location to be this far, and had to take the bus every time. Overall: A very pleasant house with kind and welcoming hosts! We recommend it.

Lovely property with lovely hosts. Nicolò reached out to us before our stay with information about Positano and the surrounding region. The day before & the day of check in, he checked in with us on our arrival, offered various routes to take to the property, and was always ready to offer help. Thanks to that, we were able to meet Davide and check in with little issue. Our hosts also sweetly prepared for us a bottle of prosecco and flowers in celebration of our honeymoon. The apartment offers a beautiful view of Positano. There is plenty of space in the very clean house, with snacks graciously provided by the host. Water from the tap was clean and tasted wonderful. There were lots of crockery, tableware, and utensils should you decide to cook yourself a meal. There is also a clean washing machine and drying rack, which was very helpful during our stay. Laundry detergent was also provided, alongside a working ironing board and iron. The wifi was generally strong and reliable, especially in the living room. Extremely enjoyed our stay.

There are many stairs (70-ish) to climb to reach this property, and further steps to head down into the apartment, with no lifts. It is not recommended for people who require mobility aids or are unwilling to carry luggage up and down so many stairs. However, we found that the staircases are quite typical of Positano and is not unique to this property.

Davide was the best host ever, he was so kind and helpful. The house was really clean and the terrace had a magnificient view. We really enjoyed staying here. If we come back to Positano, we’ll definitely stay at Davide’s house for sure.

We loved our stay at Casa Danira in Positano. Davide was a wonderful host, and Nicolo was extremely helpful and responsive with communications.

Davide was a wonderful host who showed us around the neighbourhood and looked after us beautifully. The apartment was cosy with an incredible view. We feel very lucky to have experienced this little slice of Positano life.
