Location was great It was a comfortable place to stay and rest between festival days (Creamfields) It did what we needed as a base for the weekend

It wasn't very clean Lack of utensils/equipment in the kitchen Light bulbs blown, lack of lighting because of this The vanity cabinet in the bathroom was disgustingly filthy Some of the bedding was stained and dirty Back garden/driveway was very overgrown Huge lack of plug sockets especially near a mirror for getting ready

Dirty, not cleaned, scruffy, cigarette butts (100's) in the garden, missing fence panel. Bears NO resemblance of what was advertised. Kitchen & bathrooms I would say were reasonably new just dirty through-out. Refused to stay there, ended up in local hotel. No communication from owners since asking for refund from me or Booking.com! *********************************************************************************************************************************** Arriving 5pm-left 6pm after phoning you a couple of times, I was unable to send you photo’s as they wouldn’t go through on my phone. Even if you sent a cleaning team that evening it wasn’t possible to get it to a suitable standard where I would stay there. It’s not been cleaned properly for months! It should’ve been ready when we arrived, it was far from that. Next day is not unreasonable in sending photo’s–had to find somewhere else, been travelling 7hrs, up for funeral with my 85yr mum, half term & all other local places full, my priority was my mum & getting somewhere to stay, not try and send you photo’s. Eventually found hotel at 9.30pm but 30 minute drive away. I’ve contacted Booking.com re refund, they offered £107 (paid £698). Said can only offer this as YOU had NOT replied to any of their emails! This confirmed today 2/3/25. I’d love to know why you don’t respond to the company advertising your property. Customer service not high priority? I've reached out to Booking.com, and will continue to, I’m making a claim via credit card company as you failed to deliver what I booked online and have not replied to any of my emails or Booking.com. It’s a shame as size and layout of the property is great, just needs maintaining & cleaning both inside and out. Other reviews not many overly impressed! Rating, 3 stars October 2024, 1 of the toilets was blocked, dusty and dirty, dead insects, cobwebs.

Nice big kitchen and plenty of room for us to have time on our own

Light bulbs missing from hallway & landing. Only 1 tea towel, no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets so we couldn't clean as well as we wanted to

Plenty of room for 8 people, decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms, plus in a good location

All outside rubbish bins were overflowing, there was nothing to say what went into each bin and when the collections were. Although, there was only 4 of us, the house sleeps 8, and there wasn’t enough crockery or cookware for 8 people. House keeping poor, and the rugs in the living area were a trip hazard
