Hiša Lunna - Apartments in a Forest Paradise

Remoteness- almost no traffic around, sound of creek rushing down the slope across the road was magnificent. There's table with two benches behind the house which is perfect for outside meals and hanging out with family. Some really nice paths around the property. Promptness and helpfulness of the host. There was issue with internet which they dealt with straight away (although it took ISP a while to fix it). Property appliances were plenty and modern. There was more than enough TP to last our stay (some properties don't provide any). Not having mobile signal (in connection with temp. wireless blockout) took a while to adjust to, but it gives you a chance to detox a little bit. Amazing views on the road to propery both ways (going up to Rogla, or down to Vitanje)- although I suggest drivers keep their eyes on the (narrow) road- mostly gravel and always quite a drop on one side (with occasional local racing opposite direction)! Altogether would recommend it to everyone - as long as you're not too attached to modern day devices!

Nothing that would seriously affect our stay. So perhaps more suggestion for hosts how to make this place even better (my overall rating for our stay would be 9,5 but I can only choose whole-number). First one - it's kindof hard to "blame" following on the property since some previous guests might have inadvertently taken/damaged some stuff before our visit, but some additional kitchen equipment would be very helpful- like non-stick pans (especially for pancakes!). We couldn't find (cork) wine-bottle opener, there were no spatulas, could do with few bigger glasses etc. Since property is good bit away from restaurants / shops (on a occasionaly very bumpy & narrow gravel road) it'd be greatly appreciated if there'd be some very basic cooking stuff for forgetfull people (like us :-D ) - like salt / pepper. There's no dishwasher and we only found kitchen sink plug last day- which made it hard to wash dishes beforehand. Also we couldn't get kitchen vent to work. Again- none of these were dealbreakers for us- if we get a chance we'd love to come back!

The apartment was amazing: a lot of space, cozy terrace, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, great wifi connection, a lot of natural light. It is a bit remote, but it is 101% worth it! This location is severely underrated (fresh air and amazing view!) and perfect for a little get-away from busy city life. The owner was super flexible with the arrival time and we were surprised with how clean and equipped the house was (we were cooking a lot, so it was nice to have that kitchen). Will 100% recommend to others and we will come back sometime!

Everything was perfect! Great communication with the owner - provided us everything we needed! We stayed only one night but if we knew in advance about this place, deffenetly would stay more. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit "Lugarska dolina". A lot of place if you traveling with big family. Recommended!!!
