Hermanus Cliff Path Lodge - No Load-shedding

Kind host and staff, close to the cliff path, comfortable stay with a good breakfast to start the day :)

The owner, Kara, was very friendly and helpful in providing suggestions about local sites and more generally about Hermanus. The staff who served breakfast were also unfailingly friendly, respectful, and efficient. The location is superb as it is close to the cliff paths and not far from the town centre.

My recent weekend stay at the Hermanus cliff path lodge, celebrating my 51st birthday with my son, was an amazing experience. The host, Kara, and her staff are friendly and always eager and willing to help with any queries and questions. The breakfast was so delicious and with a variety of fruits, cold meats and cheese and hot English, if you so choose. A particularly pleasant aspect was the presence of friendly dogs, who were always eager to offer a cheerful greeting. The lodge's location is ideal for those wishing to explore the area, with the renowned cliff path a mere two-minute walk away. I would confidently recommend Kara's property to anyone planning a visit to Hermanus.

Great family, a home away from home. Lovely destination and central. Rooms are beautiful with lovely hotel feeling in a house. Very accommodating family. Would highly recommend. Great staff as well.

The breakfast was superb. Full English plus fruit starter as well as cold meats. Our bedroom was large with a small lounge area. The bed was King size with good quality linen. The bathroom had a bath as well as a separate shower. Full TV bouquet. The owner, as well as her staff, were extremely attentive and pleasant. I recommend this establishment. Excellent value.

Everything was great. Guest house is located 2 minutes from long path along ocean. The breakfast was delicious. Very helpful and nice staff. And the lovely dogs of course.
