Casa Miobelle Tavira by Junto ao Mar

El alojamiento nos encantó, muy cómodo, admite mascotas y decorado con cariño.

Por poner un pero la falta de acceso al garaje (aunque hay aparcamiento de sobra fuera)

Casa Miobelle is in a good location and the centre of Tavira is quite accessible but as stated in other reviews those with mobility issues could find the inclines to and from the property difficult. The house itself is gorgeous and the patio area is wonderful to relax in with a cool beer or glass of wine. Full range of kitchen utensils for those wishing to prepare food at home rather than eating out. Antonio was easy to deal with, picking us up at the airport and handing over the keys when showing us the property and always available on the few occasions we contacted him.

the drain stoppers in the kitchen sink are worn and water drained out when washing dishes. A bowl would have been useful to save on water usage. The drains were quite smelly but this is normal in a hotter climate.

This townhouse was in a very quiet neighborhood of Tavira, but a short walk (5-10 mins) from central Tavira. We did all of our shopping on foot, and there is a ferry out to the beach a short walk from the townhouse. Walking the opposite direction from the central city there was some quiet green space with farms. Within a 15 min walk there was an excellent French bakery, two or three large supermarkets, many restaurants and cafes, and tourist destinations including the old castle. A little farther away was the “salt pans” where flamingos and other wading birds winter over. The townhouse was very spacious, and it was great to have two bathrooms. There was plenty of room to store our clothing and our suitcases. The townhouse definitely would have been comfortable with 6 people, and there were more than enough plates, cutlery and glassware for a larger group than ours. The townhouse also had cooking utensils more typical to a residence than a vacation rental. We were sad to leave casa miobelle, although we were there for a month.

Modern, clean, great outdoor spaces, fabulously stocked kitchen (the best!), lovely and accommodating owner, nice quiet neighbourhood

Could be a bit closer to the centre. But shouldn’t be an issue if you’re fit and enjoy walking.
