The view and position and parking

We had a fantastic stay at Lion House. The location is excellent, making it easy to enjoy all that Weymouth has to offer. The property itself is a beautiful Victorian house, full of character and charm. The flat was spotless, with very high standards of cleanliness throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Everything we needed was provided, including all crockery and cutlery, which made our stay very convenient. These holiday flats are perfect for a relaxing break, offering both comfort and value for money. The pricing is very reasonable, especially given the quality of the accommodation. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be returning!

Nothing to not like apart from having to leave.

The owner, Russell, met us on arrival and was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We appreciated having a designated parking place in such a busy place. Our ground floor apartment was quirky with some original features, it being in an old building. The location was stunning, just across the road from the beach which is long and sandy and within walking distance of the town and marina where there are plenty of restaurants and pubs. Loved the sea view from our window! Buses were frequent so we were able to visit Chesil Beach and Dorchester easily.

The key collection process went very smoothly. We arrived much later than expected and decided to use the lockbox for check-in instead. The host was very responsive and had offered to meet us in person to hand over the keys and give us a tour if we had arrived as we had originally intended. Parking was available right behind the building making it very convenient. The room itself was on the first floor of a historic building located on The Esplanade, running parallel to the beach. The spaces were very clean with just enough to make our stay very comfortable. Can't beat the views and the location. We spent time on the beach, took a long walk along the esplanade, walked all around town, went running in the morning before the crowds got there, visited Lodmoor nature preserve and Isle of Portland.

Excellent location and very friendly helpful staff. Free parking g in busy Weymouth is rare and a real bonus
