Excellent starting point for Tarka Trail. Close to a supermarket and an easy walk to Barnstaple Centre. We parked on the road outside and enjoyed the Gurkha Restaurant and Corner House in the town.

Location was a short distance from town but walkable for most people.

Hill’s View is a great place to stay in Barnstable. It combines being excellent value with convenience and comfort. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - including better mattresses than our ones at home! On an extremely cold day outside, the heating was great and the house owner was so helpful in communications when I had to make an adjustment before our visit. We would thoroughly recommend Hill’s View for anyone visiting Barnstable.

"Fabulous property within a short walk of the town."

Fabulous property, very clean and tidy. Comfy beds. Nice extras in the property. It is in a great location and only took 10/15 mins walk into town.

We loved everything about the property so couldn't fault anything.
