I had to leave after 3 nights and find better accommodations. Shower only dribbled water out, toilet wouldn’t flush properly, no room service for the three days I was there, got put on the 4th floor with only dangerous stairs to navigate. I am 80 years old and cannot climb that amount of stairs. The noise was unbearable till 2:30 in the morning. I saw bug crawling around at night. There could well have been bed bugs. Completely unsatisfactory.

Great place for what you pay the biggest issue for me was water pressure was terrible.

Front desk was pretty good. Didn't make me wait. Got to use some español. The Hotel was right on the corner of Quinta ave. with a little balcony overlooking. No fridge, hot plate and dishes. For the price it was good. Moved to next hotel as they were booked. Some older cabinets cracked tiles, cold shower, but other than that was clean and comfortable. Great location. A)C worked well for sun burn.
Pratique à Playa del Carmen
I really wanted to give a 5 star due to location and price and staff was very very friendly. But, water went out often. 4 of the 5days I was there. Water pressure was light. But there was always hot water. On top of a restaurant so there is music at night but ends around 11ish. It did not bother me. Tv is Spanish so bring your own device. No natural light (no windows). Again, for the price and location this is a gem. It's an old building but they kept it clean. Not sure if I will return. But possible.
I read the reviews from others before I booked. Were they talking about the same place I stayed? I'm not going to talk bad about this place, but I would never stay here again. If you want rest at night without loud music until 2am. Pick another place. I'm sure this was a nice place 40 or 50 years ago. But not anywhere I would ever stay again
El hotel tiene buena ubicación el personal muy atento y amable cumple con tu propósito sin embargo nunca pasaron a limpiar la habitacion, el internet y agua falla.
