Clear communications from hosts is so important, so I was pleased that the directions to this apartment and how to get in were detailed and spot on. This place is homely, and beautifully furnished and decorated, with all the facilities that you need to feel home from home. The location is perfect with historic sites, pubs, bars, supermarkets, restaurants and the train station nearby. Last week I was staying within a stone's throw of Shakespeare's grave. From this apartment, I could see his birthplace!

I can't fault this lovely apartment. Induction hobs can tricky, but this place had a very good quality one that was responsive and easy to use.

Very spacious apartment, well equipped and lovely decor. Provided ample sleeping capacity for 3 adults in two bedrooms, and a sofabed in the sitting room. Easy door code and lock box to access. Short walk from the station and into town. All was as we'd hoped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

(Perhaps an issue for some would be the plumbing noise/water running through pipe in the 'back' bedroom...which would be disturbing if early in the morning! It was around 9am when we stayed, so not a problem...).

Owner was great to communicate with upon receiving details for check in, and apartment was so comfy and spacious with lovely decor and furnishings. Amazing location too!! Only thing we wished was for more comfortable mattresses on the beds, which would have made it perfect!

Amazing detailed instructions for arrival. Absolutely everything you could require was available in the property.

The communal areas filthy, misguiding by the photos of outside space, bedside lights nor working, wall lights living room and bedroom behind the door too much clutter and dangerous mats. Bathroom was stinking bath full off fluff and black hair, no toilet roll supplied.organised fire alarm 10.20 to ensure all guests were out by 11, path full of fsg butts and trash not attractive god knows how old the photos are but they are no way recent and accurate to the property. Love Stratford and have stayed in many apartments this I will never return to would rather change my holiday dates than waste my hard earned cash on this, so noisy with others slamming their doors and tv volume so

Could hear toilet running behind our heads when in bedroom from upstairs apartment which disturbed us.

Beautiful setting flat, very good location, plenty of towels, has everything in the kitchen.

The mattress is bit too old, can feel the spring.

Communication: The host was responsive and friendly, which was the only positive aspect, along with the central location and the secure parking.

Location: Conveniently located in the city center, but unfortunately on a very noisy road, which made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful stay. Cleanliness: The apartment was not up to standard, with several issues that impacted our stay. Comfort: The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were so poor that only our child managed to get any sleep, while none of the adults could close their eyes all night. One bed was a queen size, and the other was even smaller, making both impossible for two people to sleep comfortably. Additionally, the sheets were of poor quality—thin, rough, and stained—and the pillows were equally disappointing, being thin and uncomfortable. The poor insulation also made the apartment both too hot and too cold at times. Amenities: The hot water system was a major issue. Only one of us could take a shower. Following our request, the host informed us that we needed to wait 30 minutes between each shower for the tank to refill and reheat. Considering that each person might take a 10 minute shower, for a group of four, it would take approximately 2.5 hours for everyone to shower—a completely impractical situation, known by the landlord who is "managing it" but yet still getting our money. Noise: The apartment has no insulation, whether thermal or acoustic. It will either be too cold or too hot, and sound insulation is non-existent—it’s as if the windows were open all the time. The entrance door to the building slams shut loudly, causing the walls to shake, which was extremely disruptive. Despite this being a known issue, no one had the presence of mind to put up a sign asking residents to hold the door if this problem was temporary.
