The owners were friendly. We enjoyed the quirkiness of the interior with interesting objects from around the world. It was thoughtful that milk was placed in the fridge for coffee drinkers and there was a large variety of tourist brochures to look at.

The exterior appearance of the rental was extremely off-putting. It looked more like a junk heap than an Airbnb. It was described as a two bedroom house. In fact, it was a studio with no separation from the kitchen area, the living or bedroom area. The exterior picture displayed on their site does not in any way reflect the reality. There is serious need for a thorough cleaning, particularly in bathroom. If you're taller than 5'8" you can't stand in the entrance door or kitchen! The neighborhood was pretty sketchy! We'd hoped to go for a walk, but unfortunately we couldn't as their neighbors had their barking dogs running loose and even followed us onto the rental property.

Reminded us of our grandparents home back in the 60s. Very cozy. Loved all the wool rugs. Ceiling in kitchen was so low that I felt tall, I'm only 5'1" lol

It was all pretty much what we expected. No complaints 😊

The location was wonderful near the Indian Pueblo and a trail down to the river

Quiet, quaint and charming in a very NM way. Easy to find the keys and clear instructions inside. Decent wifi. Overall very happy and will book again. Super accommodating for my dogs.

In the back bedroom, the heater was plugged into a power strip, which felt a little unsafe. The ceilings are very low for anyone over 5 ft there are a few hazards.

The location is very private & secluded. And very quiet except for an occasional dog barking, but from a distance. All the necessary cooking utensils, appliances, pots & pans & dishes were made available for preparing meals!

The bed was EXTREMELY FIRM/HARD! Would highly recommend the placement of some type of padding at the top of entry door frame as well as the door way leading to the bathroom!

It was funky in the best NM kind of way in a nice little neighborhood and exactly right for my needs. Quiet property, pet friendly, and close to family I come to visit.

It was a bit drafty/cold until I figured out the heaters. I don't think I'd stay there in the middle of winter or summer, it didn't seem incredibly well insulated. Other than that and the low ceilings, no complaints. A tall person might have some issues though.

Based on the reviews, I wasn't expecting a luxury accommodation. The guest house is "rustic" with a funky "bunkhouse" vibe. The bed was comfortable, and the area was rural and felt safe. The artwork was eclectic, reflecting the tastes of the hosts. Quiet and private. Lots of books! The hosts came out to meet us and were very nice.

Disappointed that they did not have Netflix. The place wasn't the cleanest, with cobwebs around the front door and inside the house. Lighting was poor, could have used a brighter wattage bulb in the lamps next to the bed for reading. The kitchen wall fixture was missing a shade. The place could use a complete interior paint job. The carpet was dirty, and the sheets had some holes in them. Needs new towels! Ceilings were low (as stated in the description), so I wouldn't recommend this place for a taller person. The curb appeal upon entering the driveway was off-putting, with construction projects in progress, and vehicles scattered around the property. The studio was quite a way from the town of Espanola (about 15 minutes' drive), where the closest restaurants and other amenities are.

We stayed in this location to be just outside of Santa Fe, looking for a comfortable and safe budget option. The studio is wonderful with all the amenities to cook a good group meal, and clean. The decoration is also beautiful. It was lovely to sleep with the windows open hearing the nature. It is a studio so don't book with expectations of a luxury hotel.

We were two solo female travellers and whilst we felt safe as it's a studio near the hosts home, there were a couple doors to the outside that didn't lock. To underline, we felt very safe and had absolutely no issues but those safety features would help peace of mind!

When I first looked at the property, was a little apprehensive, but when I settle in, found it to be very nice. The accommodation was quaint but absolutely spotless and comfortable. I much liked the live plants in the window, is a nice personal touch. The host instructions were very clear and easy. Is a little hidden away jewel.

Unfortunately, had a huge thunderstorm when trying to get to the location and many of the roads were rapid rivers and un passable. Eventually I was able to circle around and bypass the worst flooding and reached my destination.
