Cottage - two bedrooms

It’s very roomy. The floor in bathroom and living room is heated. Nice sofa. Beds are comfortable. There is a washing machine and a dryer combo.

The sink in the bathroom is small. The shower floor is clogged.

Clean, quite area, and beds were comfortable. All we really needed.

Washing machine was a little confusing. Wasn't in English.

Great facilities, in mint condition. Close to road #1 and to F35. Tranquil location, but close to major main routes. Owner and stuff were very welcoming. Cottage is spacious and easily accommodated our family of 5 adults. We woke up to find a flat tire in our car, and the owner resourcefully helped us to get to a near by garage. Thank you, Einar!!

The host was nice and helpful. The cottage is in a small tranquil village with great view and it has comprehensive facilities, including a washing machine/ dryer.

The Google map had not led us to the exact location of the cottage and for foreigners like us, the road sign leading to the cottage was not very clear. However, it was not a big issue. We managed to identify the location by sight of the church next to the cottage.

The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

At first we thought the cottage looked a little shabby but don’t let the outside put you off.
