Happy Hammocks, Hiriketiya Beach - Sri Lanka

One of the most social hostels I‘ve ever been to. The staff is super friendly and trying to include everybody. Every day there are some activities planned like volleyball or family dinner.

The staff, the manager Araz was very helpful at anytime, he organizes activities and put a great atmosphere in the hostel

All in all a phenomenal place to stay. The host is super nice, the entire place is new and super clean, beds are comfy, and there is ac in every room. There are also a lot of amenities that make staying there great. You have access to the fully equipped kitchen, a huge hangout space, pool table, water filter, daily activities, and more. Location isn't right on the beach (maybe 5 minute walk), but in return it is closer to the nearby town so you have a short walk to the supermarket, bus station, etc. It is also very quiet at night and there are barely any mosquitos. Highly recommend this stay!

Great clean hostel with air con and fans in all rooms. Great sociable spaces and being able to use the kitchen is super useful.

My stay was absolutely amazing. At first I booked just 2 nights but I kept on extending so I ended up staying 5 nights but I hope to come back again soon and longer. Location is a good distance between the town and the beach. Kitchen and rooms are clean with everything you need. Overall I had so much fun with all the activities at the hostel (family dinner, playing pool, card games, going for volleyball) plus the staff are super super sweet and helped with everything. Excited to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lost Hostel.The host was very nice and organized some activities, like a family dinner and volleyball. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers. I highly recommend the Lost Hostel.

After a hectic few weeks and months in Sri Lanka, this hostel was like an oasis paradise in the desert for me. The rooms, and especially the beds here, were fantastic. The little privacy curtains for each bed made for a great sleep every night. The kitchen was a brilliant facility as well - I cooked nearly every night here, including a 'family dinner' for the whole hostel. It really made me feel at home beig able to cook my food, which i love. And of course the social area with the pool table was a lovely place for everyone to come together and relax and socialise in. Azza, the host, was was a phenomenal guy and over the next week (I kept extending) became a genuine friend to me who i hope to see again. All in all, i couldnt recommend this hostel enough! Vest hostel in Sri Lanka!
