The Hotel at Mill Farm

Massive room amazing view of the pitch to match the match. Bed was huge and really comfy. Bath was fantastic and huge. Best room weve stayed in up to date. Mini fridge with water and milk.

A lovely place to stay, interesting location as a football fan! I enjoyed the sports bar and found the meal/drink deal was great value. The rooms & facilities are certainly top notch. Might return one day :)

The price reflects the quality, so not necessarily a criticism (I get it) but the price band is slightly high for a general business stay, it's hard to justify staying here on company money when there is so many other places on the doorstep.

I paid for early check in & when I entered the room around 1:20 the 4 pillows were piled up in the middle of the bed along with the throw. They didn’t have any pillow cases on. Someone else rubbish was left in the bin in the bathroom. My husband had to find someone to put pillowcases on which meant we didn’t get to enjoy time in the room before we went to our event. I told reception next day that I wasn’t happy to pay £25 early check in & should be refunded. She said she’d contact management. I’ve since heard nothing. It’s very bad customer service to ignore your customers. Bad housekeeping not to have a room fully prepped & cleaned. Although the domestic was lovely & apologised when she put the pillow cases on. Next day at breakfast the waitress took our drinks order then said she’d be back to take our food order. She went on to serve two more couples who arrived after us & I ended up going to the desk to ask if we could order our breakfast. I wasn’t happy that four people had their breakfast before us when they came in after us. We had a 4 &1/2 hour onward journey so needed to set off. The waitress was polite but had far too many covers to look after on her own. The bar ran out of Prosecco on the night & Tia Maria so only had one baby Guinness each (3) However the bar manager & bar man were very friendly & so we could overlook this. Bar meal wasn’t great though-onion rings swam in fat. Chips & cod bites nice. Breakfast was lovely -when it arrived.
