Attention aux grosses voitures, les rues pour y accéder sont très étroites.

The first thing I noticed entering La Casa di nonna Elena was how clean, new, and modern everything looks. Everything has been designed for guest comfort and convenience. This apartment is as nice as many five-star hotel rooms, with a comfortable bed and neatly folded towels to greet us. The furniture and fixtures all look brand new. Electrical switches are conveniently placed, with switches also located on either side of the bed, for not only the main bedroom lights (all lighting is LED, and recessed into the ceiling), but also sconces on either side of the bed. The switch plates also include USB charging ports... A very thoughtful addition. The air conditioner works very well, and is more than sufficient to cool the entire space. The kitchen includes a modern two-burner induction stove top. I also appreciated the Mondrian-inspired clock. 😊 The bathroom also has modern fixtures, including a spacious shower area with a pleasing rainfall shower head. There is also a small washing machine. Outside there is a spacious patio with a covered seating area. The location may not be the best for guests wanting to spend their days in Amalfi, but there are regular and somewhat reliable buses with stops near the apartment (line 5080) that take 40 to 60 minutes to reach Amalfi, depending on traffic. For restaurants, try Punto Pizza or O Solo Mio (ask if they have the homemade ravioli in lemon butter 😋). I highly recommend La Casa di nonna Elena. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
