"Stayed still thinking it was Adults Only and we would be kids free. We were wrong."

Overall we had a good stay. We had found out about the Romer House while on another trip and that it was going to be adult only, and still thought it was. But add that to didn't like. Rooms were clean and were also a great size ! , bathroom was huge, and quick to walk anywhere from this hotel. And opposite the International Market Place.Breakfast was included on our stay and we highly recommend it. It was worth getting when added. Large room. plenty of space. Youtube Aussie Couple Hawaii.

We looked super forward to this as we were kid free this trip. And was always advertised as an adult only hotel. And we woke to screaming kids one morning, and then heard them n the hallway. We were what is going on its adults only ? And we walked out and two other couple entered the elevator same time, and a family walked. up and waited , and the other couples straight away looked at us and went umm wtf isn't it adults only ? We to were confused. And had asked a few other guests whom thought the same, and was the only reason any of them booked. We only did it to enjoy some peace, and once again pool always had kids etc. We have zero issues with kids, but this was ( as far as we know the only one on Oahu ). We asked the desk, we got oh we changed that a while back but not all online bookings and third parties have changed it. But it was a nice hotel. But ruined the reason we wanted to stay. Also the shower was zero pressure and can't help but have water go everywhere. Balcony was no good either, elevator always had people talking to us lol. but wasn't the worst.

Fabulous location, wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff. Included breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and served by friendly, cheerful staff. Rooms were modern, well appointed and fabulously clean and fresh. We would definitely recommend to other travellers.

"Exceptional Staff ⭐️"

Our stay at Romer House Waikiki was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The moment you walk through the doors, the team greets you with “Welcome Home,” and that energy truly sets the tone for the entire experience. It felt warm, genuine, and unlike the typical hotel check in. The property itself is stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Premium King Suite, which made the stay even better. I especially want to recognize Ariel for going above and beyond throughout our visit. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and made a real impact on our experience. Every hotel hopes to have staff members like her. She deserves major recognition and honestly, a raise. A special shoutout as well to Nia and Nani, who added such a thoughtful personal touch to our stay. They regularly sent text messages to keep us informed about events happening on the property and checked in consistently to make sure we had everything we needed. That level of attentiveness and communication made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the trip. The location is another huge plus. You are right in the heart of everything Waikiki has to offer, making it easy to walk to shopping, dining, and the beach. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations. Beautiful property, excellent service, prime location, and staff who make you feel genuinely valued. I would absolutely stay here again.

If I had one small critique, it would be that the large housekeeping bins with towels were often positioned right near the elevator exit, which was not the most polished first impression when stepping off. Very minor issue in the grand scheme of an otherwise fantastic stay.

"Overall happy with our stay"

It was located right outside the rear exit of the international market place, making it easy to travel to the beach by cutting through. It also provided us with many food options available on rainy days or for a quick inexpensive meal. The front staff were great. When needed they were always there to answer questions. We appreciated having the water station at the bottom of the elevators. It made it very convenient to fill up before hitting the beach. Comfort wise I can’t complain at all about the bed and pillows. I have a bad back from the war and I felt nearly as comfortable as I would in my own bed.

The only complaint that we had was about the cleaning staff. We were there for seven days and the hotel policy is that we only get our room rooms cleaned every other day. While, I understand that is not the cleaning staff’s fault. It is an issue with Romer house’s current policy. I believe this should be updated as nearly every hotel I have ever been to has the rooms cleaned every day. The reason I specifically say issues with the cleaning staff is that every single time they cleaned our room they did not restock towels. Not one single time. They took the dirty ones and they did not provide clean towels, causing us to have to call down or ask for them in person at the front desk. That is completely unacceptable. We even stated that we have to keep on asking for them because they don’t restock them and no changes were made over our time there. These were minor issues that were more of an annoyance than anything else. It wouldn’t prevent me from recommending the hotel to someone, but I would be sure to tell them of the Romers current policy… and that the cleaning staff chooses not to refill towels on a regular basis.
