Lena's Home

Lena’s Home est un appartement neuf et très bien équipé, proche la mer et la vieille ville. La rue a pas mal du trafic, mais l’appt est assez bien insonorisé. Il manque la charme de la vieille ville, mais malgré ca reste un option correct.

Lena, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, left us with a fantastic welcoming pack .the apartment was clean, well presented, and well stocked with cleaning products. Well positioned just a short walk to the shops and sea front .

Everything was perfect!

Very pristine and clean. Very well equipped, especially the cithen, with pots and pans for everything, oil and spices an everything we needed for cooking. In the fridge there were all kinds of drinks, Two TV’s, both in the bedroom and the main room. Lots of cupboards in the bedroom. Nice bed. Two minutes from the wonderful old town. The host was very nice and helpful, he even came with fruits from his own garden.

No sun at the veranda after three o’clock, and uncomfortable chairs. We wanted to stay in town, but this street was very noisy, Especially in the night. Outside there was a gathering place for youth with bikes/scooters. Not the best for old people like us, who want to go to bed early. You had to be lucky to get a place for the car in the street, but there was a free parking lot a few minutes away, so it was ok.

I truly magnificent stay. The photos reflect the truth about the apartment. Greatly communicative and active host who welcomed us and showed us the whereabouts of the house. The apartment is located close to the commercial centre of Rethymno, 15 min walk from the old town and 10 min walk from the beach of Rethymno. The house is brand new, roomy and really well equipped (large fridge, oven, washing machine). The two air-condition units make sure that even the hottest days do not affect the inner temperature of the apartment, while the balcony is ideal for some dinner and drink session. The bed and pillows are really comfy, while I really appreciated the desk for some work session I had. Two large TV monitors in both the living room and bedroom, ideally combined with Netflix. My next visit to Rethymno, will be for sure at Lena's Home.

If you have a car, try the nearby municipal parking space, since there is no (free of charge)spot directly under the building. With open windows, things can get sometimes a little bit noisy from the street under, but no true worries.

Perfect location - few minutes walk to the beach and Old Town. New apartment, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! Clean, crisp sheets and soft fluffy towels. Supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and pharmacy all within a few minutes walking. A/C in both areas as well as large flat screen TV's in both areas. Netflix added bonus. Comfy bed and sofa bed perfect for kids. Shutters helped a morning sleep -in. Small comforts were an added benefit: coffee machine with capsules, water and few goodies in the fridge. Even mini ice-cream in the freezer.. Washing machine with powder+comfort really great to wash beach towels and swimwear midweek. Bathroom supplies also appreciated. Periclis and Lena were super helpful hosts and greeted us with big smiles. All in all a perfect week stay at a good value for 4 persons. Will definitely stay again!!

Difficult to park, but street parking nearby.

We were very satisfied with the apartment equipment and its location. The owners of the apartment were extremely helpful, even gave us some recommendations around the island.

Great apartments! Good location, not far from beach and old city. There are everything you need in the apartments and even more! Thank for great vocation in Rethymno!
