We loved the location, it was just 15 min walking from restaurants and centre. Very quiet and peaceful area. Also Frank was very helpful, we also loved his friendly pets.

The bedroom was very clean, and came with coffee facilities as well as a mini fridge/freezer, spoons, bowls, and plates. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was lovely and offered a nice view at sunrise and in the evenings, and was perfect for eating breakfast or relaxing at the end of the day. The bathroom was spotless (other than hair trapped in the shower plug). Cleaned to a very good standard. It was very nice to have a bidet as someone who is used to this at home for religious reasons. Spacious room with enough ventilation. We really enjoyed the animals around the place, with several friendly dogs and cats, as well as the local cockerels at sunrise and all the sounds of the birds and bugs from the trees all around. Frank was very very warm and welcoming, and provided a lot of detailed recommendations for everything from nice viewpoints, to activities, to the best eateries. He even gave us some very juicy pomegranates and fruit from his garden. The location was good; it was around a 15-20 minute walk to the old town, but it's a nice and quiet area and the walk is no problem at all. I'm glad we settled for this location as several other accommodation options in the town wouldve been noisy as they are located near noisy bars (which get very noisy at night). Overall, we loved our stay here and hopefully will be back if/when we are back in the Algarve

Everything was perfect. Frank is a great host, you'll feel at home, he'll take care of you and give you everything you need to live a great experience in Algarve region. Plenty of information and tips, that were really helpful. The house is wonderful and the location is really good. Lagos is definitely a nice place to start your journey in Algarve.

Everything! The isolation but still proximity to the center, the facilites, the traditional look of the house, the cleanliness, the owner Frank who gave us pomegranate from the garden and was super friendly and considerate even when we checked in at 4am!

Frank is really great host, it was a pleasure to stay at his lovely place. Everything was clean and comfy with such a nice atmosphere.We would love to stay at this villa longer and we will come again.Perfect for couple or even a family. Really nice and welcoming animals, so dont hesistate to pet a good boy BlackJack and visit Villa Fonte Coberta.

Nice villa and surrounding garden and plants were lovely! The host planted lots of trees, peach, grape, pomegranate, apple, etc. around the villa and feels really nice. We got a whole second floor for ourselves, with a private bathroom and balcony. The bathroom was well equipped and felt like a luxury hotel. The view from the villa is amazing, especially in the morning. There were also some dogs and cats around the house that we absolutely adore. Walking distance to a huge supermarket that was very convenience. Definitely a great value for the price tag and we can't recommend it more! :)

Bit hard to find its location and it's a bit hidden. In the morning there was this sewage smell coming in the bedroom that was horrible.

There was no food on offer but there was a fridge , plates cups etc and a supermarket nearby. Towels and toiletries were plentiful. A lovely atmosphere in the home of Frank and his sister. Loved the garden, as this provided shade, and the use of a pool to cool down during the very hot days.

Unfortunately the weather was unusually very hot, even throughout the night which compromised our comfort. However Frank did buy some portable air con units, which was very thoughtful.

Frank and his family are wonderful people, kind and super helpful. They gave us a lot of useful information to enjoy our stay as best as possible (beaches, best restaurants, climate, nearby cities). Their beautiful home is surrounded by nature, populated by his cute dogs and cats. There are also chickens and ducks. You sleep well at night, pampered by the sounds of nature. The room with a very comfortable terrace and private bathroom is spacious and very clean. You have complete freedom to enter and leave the house without ever feeling uncomfortable. The house has a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. Frank also provided us with a very useful beach umbrella. The house is located 1.5 km from the center and Meia Praia beach. The nearby Continente supermarket is very convenient for having breakfast and buying something for lunch. The room does not have air conditioning but it is not necessary because the wind blows very cool in Lagos in the evening (bring a sweater to cover yourself!). Sooner or later we will return to this wonderful place!
