The communication with owners was very disappointing. Some days before check in they asked us to pay the city tax. Information that we have to pay this was nowhere on the accommodation Booking page. The city tax also was a little bit more than it should have been. Also the amount we paid on booking before check in had text beside it that it includes all taxes and fees, so we felt like that should already include the tax. We asked why there was no info about this additional city tax and they ignored our message for a few days. Some hours before checking in we asked again and they ignored us again. We decided to pay the city tax. Some minutes after paying they sent us the check in information. This was blackmail. The city tax was not that big and it would have not been a big deal to us if they had explained why it was missing from their page and where this amount comes from. Instead by ignoring us they made the situation a lot worse then it should have been. Although the stay was okay and it worked out for us in the end I would not recommend this accommodation because the communication with the owners had many red flags and we were blackmailed

Very nice and clean appartment in Bergamo. It is near airport and big shops Lidl and Mc drive. By train you can visit Milan , lake Como and lake Lugano.
