Villa Magnolia 2 Himos

Everything you could expect from a reasonably priced cabin was provided. We wished there was a second small toilet but ultimately managed with one bathroom. Some of the surfaces and materials are starting to show their age, but everything worked and we had a pleasant time hanging around in the cabin after skiing all day. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft, and luckily there were gates on the stairs. The location is quite good - you can reach the slopes in a few minutes either on foot or by car.

We went there in late March, and one thing that became a bit of a problem was that the alternating melting and freezing of snow/water made the courtyard, which was quite steep and narrow to begin with, very slippery and difficult to maneuver a car with no AWD onto. Not really something the owner can do much about but something to keep in mind nevertheless. Likely would not be a problem in constant subzero temperatures or in summertime.

Sauna max temp was 65, no bed linens, no trash bins at the property, no toilet paper, no trash bags, as it is self cleaning property there wasn’t anything to clean with, no vacuum cleaner, or proper mops. My wife was moping the floor with paper tissues that we bought…
