DEThe room was clean and tidy with a great view. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. I nice quiet location with a fantastic view. Plenty of things to see in this area if you like beaches etc.

NZNZThe location was amazing. Out in the sticks and being woken up by nature was amazing! We travelled from Auckland, so to only be an hour away but feel like you’re a million miles away was a great feeling. Āwhitu and Waiuku just a short drive away to spend the day at beaches or on the Glenbrook train are lovely. This accomodation was a great stop over spot to sleep and get ready for the day ahead. Shower pressure is great and bed is nice and comfy. As a group of three we also used the sofa bed, which was lovely and comfortable to sleep in! Even with three other units and the main house close by, we couldn’t hear a peep from them. a truly peaceful and tranquil area to get out of the city life! Thank you to the hosts for helping us with our cooking dilemma, without it we wouldn’t have been able to stay! your hospitality did not go unnoticed and we are so grateful! ☺️
Miscommunicated from the advertisement about the “kitchenette”. We had assumed there would be availability to cook a meal on a hot plate (as most kitchenette places provide), all that was available was 1 bbq (to share between 4 units), kettle and microwave. Thankfully the hosts were gracious enough to provide us with a hot plate and cooking materials in order for us to eat. As it was an easter long weekend and not near a main town, takeaways were unfortunately not available to us. There was coffee, and tea available but no milk. This is a great place if you are visiting family or attending a wedding where food is available elsewhere.

Had hoped kitchen facilities included a electric hot plate, but we managed! Miriarma was charming, welcoming, knowlegeable of area & very friendly!!
