AUNZViews of hills/sea/animals - being in the countryside (very peaceful). The accomodation exceeded my expectations looks even more amazing/beautiful in person ... the place is modern, clean, had what we needed. The owners were very accommodating very responsive even permitted us to do a late check out which we so appreciated since we checked in late. They let our daughter Maia feed the baby chickens & ducks ... Maia said she got to hold some baby chickens & was able to help collect laid eggs from the chicken barn. The host's daughter was a such a lovely play buddy companion for our daughter who has the same name as ours - lovely family. We enjoyed going for a walk around the immediate area & been able to go to Awhitu regional park - to the beach, which was a very short drive from accomodation. I like they have a spa but didn't get a chance to use it - next time we will definitely have to. We never been to Waiuku before so it was a very interesting/cool experience - it was worth the lengthy trip from Auckland. A wonderful place to visit/stay during xmas!!!
Complaints from apartment 2 about noise about the families with kids including us, noise in general i believe (we just closed our window(s)/door(s) & had the air cooler tower fan on - no big deal) & apparently they said they had bed bugs (hard to believe - we had no issues & the place was immaculate. Yes we are close together (the apartments) but that's how it is & people would of been aware of this from the photos provided in listing. Glad to hear they checked out early. This did not deter us from having a fantastic time! Highly recommended, great value for money. Thanks to the host & family ... all the very best!!!

Stairs were not constructed according to code,nor was there a hand rail. No hair-dryer or milk of any type.

NZIt was very clean and well presented hosts were easy and quick to communicate with.
The bottom (only) sheet was microfibre and WAY too hot for this time of year. And no top sheet to use just thick duvet. There was no milk for coffee in the morning only beers in a communal kitchen
