"Housebound"

While staying in Ostuni we were effectively housebound by the weather.This meant we could make no use of the courtyard and spent 2.5 days inside, cooking and watching streamed TV.Fortunately the stay was excellently provisioned and I could find all that I needed for preparing meals.There was a fair sized supermarket 10 minutes away where we braved the weather once a day.Breakfasts were fine and met our needs but maybe not others who want a bigger or a savoury breakfast.Our host was a delight who was worried our stay was ruined by the weather.She communicated perfectly and provided us with much assistance.We were trapped and the accom. was a warm,dry,very well resourced place to spend your time totally indoors.An oven and induction cooktop turned out to be vital.

A bit difficult to get out of the bed on one side
