The Woodside Snug, Eastwell, Vale of Belvoir

Lovely open space, nice welcome snacks and great location.

The sofa bed was very squeaky - every time I moved in the night it woke either me or the other guest up.

Everything. The decorations, the facilities and our host has a welcome pamper with biscuits and snacks. Absolutely brilliant!

It was clean, set out well, the facilities provided were good.

The sound proofing between our accommodation and upstairs was inadequate. We were kept awake until 1.30 on Sunday morning by talking and furniture being moved. Footsteps were really loud as well. As there were 3 of us staying, it would have been nice to have a third bar stool to sit on. Hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang up towels would have been useful as would have a hairdryer. As the weather was good when we stayed, a picnic bench outside would have been nice.

The key box code was sent to me prior to arrival via email. The room was very welcoming. The kids beds were already made up as they was sleeping on the sofa bed which made everything a little easier for us as we were rushing off to a wedding. There was also an excellent welcome pack with snacks and kids cereal and fresh milk in the fridge. We absolutely loved staying at the Woodside Snug just wish we could have stayed longer. It was pristine, new, beautifully clean, nice welcome pack, food and milk. Nicely laid out, good design, nicely finished, good, tasteful decor, excellent bathroom and shower. Good cups, glasses, tv, etc.

The mattress was uncomfortable and, therefore, not to the standard of the rest of the apartment. Could feel the uneven springs. We actually used the two mattresses from the sofa bed as mattress toppers.

The perfect overnight stay for us . And Highly recommended Easy to find Spotlessly clean Very well maintained Very comfortable. Lovely big comfortable Bed The apartment was much bigger than expected. Quiet overnight Fully equipped for a longer stay if needed. Parking outside the door Excellent contact from the host. We particularly liked the attention to detail. The Food hamper with snacks was a lovely touch ,Milk in the fridge& porridge provided Everything had been thought of . To top it all, a lovely little country pub "The Nags Head" not far away in Harby ( a few minutes drive) serving very nice food with huge portions and live music on the night we visited Also highly recommended. .

That we were only there one night !! Nothing to dislike. We will definitely stay again.
