Casa di Giò - Comfy Lake Como Attic

A top floor apartment with lovely views of the lake and mountains. The apartment was well equipped (including air conditioning) and is hosted by Sara who made significant effort to ensure everything was ok for our 4 night stay (we were attending the Italian F1 Grand Prix at Monza) Monza race track is about 35 minute drive or alternatively there is the train from Lecco station, which is within walking distance). We drove from UK. Our car is 5m long and we wanted a garage, so this apartment was ideal. Many Italian garages seem to be tiny, but this one was huge (10m long and 3m wide with up & over door behind electric gates). We could have parked two of our car in there! By the way, if a rude man tells you to move your car off the driveway when you arrive, ignore him. It happened to us and he threatened my wife that he would cancel our booking unless we moved our car off the drive and this incident just caused us inconvenience. It turned out he was nothing to do with our booking (he manages the apartments on the ground floor). Anyway, top tip, just tell him to go away!

Everything was good. Maybe a long mirror attached to a wall in the property would have been useful.

Location and well equipped apartment

De host was absoluut GEWELDIG. locatie en uitzicht zeer goed. We hadden een geweldig verblijf. We willen zeker nog eens terug komen.

Het enige minpuntje voor ons was het douchebad. Voor de grote onder ons was dat erg onhandig. De kleinere uit ons gezelschap hadden er minder last mee. .

The apartment was perfectly located to explore Lecco. The views from the apartment was spectacular. The apartment was well appointed and had everything you needed for a good stay. Good communication from the host made check in and departure easy.

The apartment was spacious and had a stunning view of Lecco, the lake, and the mountains. It was well-equipped and had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it’s a nice place with amazing views, but it may not be ideal for light sleepers.

1. There was no shower gel or shampoo provided. If you don't bring your own, you'll need to walk about 15 minutes to the nearest shop to buy some. 2. The windows face a road with quite a bit of traffic, so it was rather noisy inside the apartment. Personally, I found it difficult to sleep because of the noise.
