The fox den

Everything! We were welcomed by a fantastically kept and maintained place. Big thanks to Carol for providing us with such a fantastic experience!

Nothing to unlike!

Quiet and peaceful

Lockbox position is too low, difficult for a pair of pensioners too get down low enough to access it. Mattresses could be better.

Overall everything was great, and would recommend the fox den to others. Very good size and value for money and right next to a stream. Beautiful location. Communication was good too.

Not to critisize, but just a note, when we arrived the caravan was very cold (this is expected i suppose. It makes sense that heating and boiler would be off if nowhere is there) however what would improve the stay is if the owner or somone on behalf of owner could heat the place slightly or set a timer before we arrive. The reason is we had a 13 month baby and it was freezing when we got there. We had to turn everything on and the gas fire could not be lit on first night because of no lighter. It said in manual behind a picture but there wasnt any. To contribute to thos the small heater in kids room when put on started smelling really bad then we saw some snoke or steam from it which scared me how safe it would be in night in kids room. So we turned it off for safety, which meant 1 kkds room was cold at night witg very little extra blankets for warmth. Again not a critisism its still very nice and we loved our stay. Just small issue with the heating

Everything was great, we all really enjoyed the experience. The caravan had everything you could need and more, the shower is lovely. Great view of the stars at night in a very peaceful setting.

The mattress on the double bed could be more comfortable

Very nice and cosy place. Quite and very clean we really enjoyed our stay will be booking again I loved how clean it was and the place outside for having Bbq is a bonus. Can't fault it well done Carol.

It was clean, perfect for family and friends, there’s everything that you need will come again.

Everything was perfect

The location was good and the van was roomy.

Larger single bed

the staff were friendly and responsive. the place was fine and the furniture was OK too.

the heating was sufficient and the gas run out in a very cold night -3 the water was freezing cold stayed like that till the morning then we left. After leaving I git a message that we needed to seith the gas bottles but we were not instructed about that in advance.

Kind and courteous host. Easily reachable when we required assistance.

Being winter, one of the portable heater units perhaps needs to be replaced? It wasn't heating very well.
