Badaboom Hostal & Surf

Nice hostel with amazing staff :)

The owner is a nice guy, super helpful. The location is great, close to the other hostels in the area and walking distance to the Boom. The internet worked well. The dorm on the 2nd floor looked nice air airy, but coming as a couple we got booked into other cabinas at the back.

Sadly we didn't sleep well : the bed (I don't think the issue is the mattress but the type of bed support under it that makes the mattress bends in the center. It shouldn't be too hard to fix, putting wood planks instead), the power failure so no A/C from 2am (fairly out of control of the owner) and the construction of new cabinas in front of our window, which started too early to let us recuperate from the night, and made it not so intimate, we decided to look somewhere else. The owner was great and although we had booked for 2 nights, let us leave without penalty. Special mention, although we left early, the owner helped organizing me into a surf boat trip with other guests.

The place was very fun with a pool and a comfortable private room. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. The owner and his family are very nice.

One recommendation would be to get an espresso machine ;)

Great food, friendly staff and the rooms are comfortable. Epic location, close to the beach! Nice spacious pool area and good restaurant on property.

Beautiful property with big pool and only 15min walk to surf the boom

spacious, plenty of areas to chill, volleyball, billiards and a pool. the food is the best in the area. the staff are amazing, Sam and meliza were so nice and helpful. Cedric the owner helped organize everything from boat trips to rental cars, he made everything super easy and even came and surfed with us, so epic. if we go back definitely staying here again
